Tomasz Grzybowski

Guitarist, arranger and educator, and a graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków.

His artistic work is rooted in a classical music education, which serves as a foundation for explorations spanning improvisation, jazz and contemporary guitar music. He combines technical precision with the openness of improvisation, developing a distinctive and personal musical voice.

He performs on classical, acoustic and electric guitars. A central place in his artistic activity is occupied by the seven-string classical guitar, whose extended sonic possibilities he explores through original arrangements and concert performance.

He specializes in solo recitals for seven-string classical guitar, bringing together classical, contemporary and improvised music.

He has performed in Poland and internationally, including Germany, Belgium, Brazil and China. He appears as a soloist, chamber musician and session musician.

In 2026, he received international recognition, winning First Prize at The New York International Music Competition, First Prize at the 15th Tiziano Rossetti Academy Online Music Competition in Lugano, and Second Prize at the International Competition MUSIC ACADEMY FORTE in Brussels.
